Music has been a huge part of life since the dawn of time.  From pre-historical drums to the high tech chart smashing hits it’s still here and still evolving.  We celebrate our love of music with concerts and big name festivals like T4 On The Beach and Glastonbury! Beside all the great music you get to listen to at these places you’ll also see fashion tastes of the country because fashion and music go hand in hand, both allow us to express ourselves. So why not express yourself with the latest fashion trends hitting the festival scene.

Ladies it’s all about layering! Cropped t-shirts with big prints over long vests with shorts or if it’s really hot forget about vest and a bit of skin, just remember your sun block.  And if you’re more of a girlie girl grab some super cool floaty summer dresses with cute floral prints layered with crochet waistcoats.  With the sun out don’t forget sunglasses and trilby.  Complete the look with a range of accessories from funky head bands, chunky jewellery to a dash of feathers. 

For the men who love to rock with the best of them its time for you to decide your festival essentials.  Chinos are a massive must have and with the summer heating up shorts are out in force too, they look great with printed t-shirts or vest with espadrilles.  Look cool with trilby and woven or beaded bracelets. If the rain decides to make an appearance along side Coldplay or Beyonce grab your parka jackets.

Anything goes and you will be rocking this festival season even if you’re in your wellies!

Big Boys

A tidal wave has washed over Britain stirring up men’s fashion, and it looking really good!  Jeans are not the only choice for men anymore, chinos have made a huge comeback with a wide range of fittings and colours, so you guys are gonna have to get brave!  Colours like plum, olive, chocolate, slate, khaki and blue all look amazing,  however those who are a little cautious of getting your feet wet the best colour in chinos is sand or camel.  Don’t be thinking these chinos are the ones your grandpa worn back in the days, these are the best the fashion world has seen.  With various fittings such as twisted legs, drop crotch and cuffs bring a fresh youthful approach, you’re bound to find a style in a colour you like.

A big trend in the world of jeans and chinos is the drop crotch and twisted leg.  You might think back to MC Hammer’s pants from the 90’s but stop right there. Theses are nothing of the sort, with big fashion names like Firetrap, Gio-Goi, Duck&Cover and Diesel all backing up this trend you know it’s going to look great. 

Street fashion has never looked so hot.  T-shirts and polo’s really look fabulous with the chinos and jeans, whether it is big graphic prints or keeping it clean with smart logos you won’t go wrong.  But to finish this look you’ll need to pop you feet into some stylish footwear.  Look no further than espadrilles! They are such great comfy footwear without losing any of its street cred. Hot on the heels of the espadrille is the low profile trainer, perfect for this season hot weather!

Celebrities such as Golden Boy David Beckham, Brad Pitt and Olly Murs are all wearing this latest trend.  With these three key fashion pieces you to could be the best looking lad on the street and in the words of MC Hammer ‘you can’t touch this!’

Royal Looks

The country united for the Royal Wedding and now fashion is uniting over their new found love of lace and fitted dresses thanks to the new Duchess of Cambridge aka Kate Middleton. Looking every inch Royalty in her Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen designed lace wedding dress; she has single handedly brought lace to for forefront of fashion again. Let’s not forget how elegant her sister Pippa Middleton looked in her dress by the same designer, sleek lines, button details, little bit of cleavage and simply stunning.

We are expecting dresses to be flattering, fitted, glamorous and featuring massive amounts of lace this season. It’s already starting to show up in the shops! Max C London, Rare, Rage, Lipsy and others are pushing this fabulous trend with some amazing designs.  Expect to see button detailing, high waist, lace and little 50’s style in the dresses coming out soon.

Another key feature this season is jewellery.  It finishes the look of an outfit and must never be underestimated. Silver jewellery is simple divine, timeless and classic.  Whether it’s long necklaces with a bit of sparkle, over sized rings or diamante bracelets you can’t go wrong and will look amazing with the current style of dresses.  Silver isn’t the only big thing happening in jewellery.  Big chunky statement pieces are a fab way to finish off those gorgeous maxi dresses all the Celebes are wearing.  Just one or two pieces are all you will need!

With all those maxi dresses floating about making every girl feel super fabulous you’ll need the perfect footwear.  It’s the best summer footwear this season, stylish and sexy; you can’t go wrong with this years wedge.  Yes, the wedge is back big and better then ever!  From cute summer wedges for the beach to the sexy platform wedges the will make your legs seem they go on forever.
